Filippo was inspired by the relationship between Nature and Native Americans originally living in the Catskills, upstate New York. An homage to the beautiful balance with wilderness, particularly focusing on the Mahicans who called themselves "the people of the waters that are never still."
DESORDEN is meant to transcribe this sense of wonder, adventure, and freedom.
It is a perfume for those people who are not afraid of organized chaos, who embrace it and shape it into creating something new.

In 2001 Filippo Sorcinelli founded the atelier LAVS (L'atelier vesti sacre) to study, design and make sacred robes, furnishings and accessories for the sacred liturgy. LAVS has become the spearhead of excellence in Italy and abroad in just a few years, working closely with the Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff.
LAVS's work is recognized worldwide for having made numerous robes for Pope Benedict XVI and for Pope Francis's mass at the beginning of his pontificate in 2013.
Filippo Sorcinelli is first of all a musician who finds his score in wood, in metal, little does the support matter, since it conveys emotions and gives beauty. The organ, his great passion is the true soundtrack of his life.

Is there a particular story behind this project? What kind of emotional response do you hope to evoke?
This creation smells of adventure, where the soul of the people speaks and awakens, free from borders, sometimes pushing beyond the limit.
In an open sky, the wild spirit calls us, with a seductive whisper, brushing against the clouds, beyond the boundaries of time that smells of wood and smoke.
Adventure is a song that resonates within us, a dance of freedom that makes us feel alive and authentic.
Do you consider this perfume a purely olfactory experience, or is there a visual or narrative element you intended?
In this context, light serves as the narrative thread like in a painting, even amidst darker tones or “chords” in perfumery. It's a unique light that intricately connects the people and their authentic genuine richness.
What is the most satisfying aspect of this perfume creation for you ?
Every experience, every collaboration is a source of inspiration for me. Sharing with others to realize one's own vision has always been part of my life. Including the visions and projects of other brands, because they fill me with satisfaction and because it means being a small point of reference for others.
How would you describe your personal style as a perfumer?
Honestly, I've never been able to define myself, and perhaps that's for the best. Putting a label on myself would deprive me of the freedom to explore anywhere.
What inspires you to continue creating new fragrances?
Certainly, it's the emotions. Without them, one cannot consider themselves free, cannot consider themselves alive.
Exploring these inner "mysteries" through scent is a meaningful pursuit.
What role do emotions play in your fragrance creation process?
Emotions are at the core of my creative process; they fuel my drive to create Beauty. In this project, I aimed to vividly depict the landscape and its interaction with light, without understanding these essential elements the fragrance cannot be fully understood.
